After 10+ firmware updates and umpteen factory resets I think no bit of software is going to rescue this! I can't get on the app market to download those anyway as the wifi is completely useless now

The wifi just won't stay switched on - thats got to be a hardware error surely

I have a fresh new ONDA vx610w capacitive, and i have problem flashing, tablet never gets to flashing mode, i plug usb cable while holding menu key and tablet do not react - shows only charging icon and then display is shutting off - am i doing something wrong ?

that worked !
0) turn on tablet
1) Hold power button for more than 10 seconds and keep holding it. (it will shut down)
2) Hold esc button and keep holding it too.
3) Then, connect the player to the usb port.
4) Keep holding esc button and very rapidly press power buton more than 6-7 times.

and i have made a mini usb OTG cable - little bit harder that making micro OTG but i did it, awesome thing is my huawei K3520 modem works !

I had also same flashing problem. I have ONDA VX610W deluxe V5 and these steps work for me:

1) turn off tablet
2) hold menu button
3) connect usb cable
4) 3 times press power button (still hold menu button)
5) livesuit recognize tablet and I can move on to flash tablet
