Hi there, forum mates!
Since few days I'm a happy owner of JXD S7300B black.

I was very happy with this device until I discovered that Wi-Fi doesn't turns On. First thought was - my Wi-fi network is encrypted. But then when I shutdown the encryption and opened my network, my S7300B still turning Off the Wi-Fi. Also I tried to tap on the Wi-fi icon on the desktop widget, but nothing, in both cases (widget and wireless settings) only a blue led (on the left low corner) is turning On.
I tried - Settings> Accessibility> Device test and selected wi-fi option:
"---------Wifi info----------
checking wifi state......
wifi state:unknown
Starting wifi.....
wifi log:unknown
wifi log:enabling
wifi error
Wufi Test Finish."
Here a video showing how this error looks on JXD S5110 and my S7300B:

I have installed "Terminal Emulator" app and used some commands:
Code: [Select]
$ su
# ifconfig eth0
# iwconfig
# svc wifi enable
# svc wifi prefer
Not helped.
Also I installed and used "Wifi Fixer", "Fix Wifi Connection" and "FXR WiFi fix and rescue". Nothing of this helped. Those apps only deleted my "previous" setting (I haven't any before).
I tried different channels on my router and even disabled the encription. But nothing. There is not a problem on finding WiFi networks, its just the WiFi is trying to turn On, but turns Off again like on the video I posted. Its like there is no wifi circuit (or dongle) inside the S7300 case, but when I opened the back panel I saw the WI-Fi module is soldered and it is RTL8188EUS.
I tried an USB Wifi dongle, Realtek based one - RTL8192SU (which perfectly works on Diyomate Z8 and RaspberryPi

. But no reaction. On S7300 it doesn't works.
Tested other devices with WiFi (like I said before) - JXD S602, Android 4 iPhone W007, Augen The Book EBA701 and 7" MID WM8650. All those devices are connecting to my WiFi.

I also tried some firmwares - the stock JXD (the original and the newest from their site), NCCE 1.1 Custom firmware and the SXelrom 3.5. But that not helped, so I think it is a hardware problem.
Here You can see what is inside the JXD S7300B

As final solution - What if I unsolder RTL8188EUS Wi-Fi module and test on a regular PC? I think a USB-TTL device like CP2102 Sylabs, can help on that. There is other way to test this Wi-Fi module?

Any help is appreciated! (I'm very sorry if I posted in a wrong section, I can delete this post and re-post it or move it to other forum section).

Hello,

Newbie, just signed up today. I've owned four Android tablets, two Samsung media Players, & two Android mini-pcs.
Gave the first min-pc (UG802) away after I rooted and upgraded it with Finless Bob Rom, got the Chinese government
jaillock out of it, installed regular Google Play, & got it to work well with XBMC Android custom build.

A few days ago I got hit by a problem I haven't been able to solve so far. After working flawlesly for months my two devices running on Android 4.1.1 suddenly drop Wireless Internet connection & will not connect no matter what I do!

My Acer Iconia A210 is useless to me without Internet! Acer refuses to let me call a tech or email because my S\N is no
longer under warranty. I find Acer community is worthless & so far I can only find scatter mention that other A210 owners are stricken with connection problems after Acer upgraded them to Android 4.1.1 but i cannot seem to find solutions other than
turn Wireless on and off and factory reset, all of which I already tried.

I know its not my Xfinity Wireless Home service because I was using the mini & the Acer for four months with 4.1.1
I have encountered mention that pre-4.2.2 Android is buggy especially in operating wifi connectivity.

I use the A210 daily, always online. What is frustrating is everything is working well as before. The wifi just cannot
pass authentication process anymore. I have a CM build of Android 4.0 in my HP Touchpad and it still works
flawlessly with my wifi network.

Hi! I tested the voltage on this WiFi module - RTL8188EUS, and all is OK - 3.3V. On other forum (4pda) I found a similar problem - its hardware's. A user (g-coder) described that he discovered why on his tablet isn't working the RTL8188EUS module, he lost a little smd inductor. He tried similar smd inductors but still not working, so he soldered a usb-in cable to the mainboard of his Tablet PC and tried a similar WiFi module, he used a TP-LINK TL-WN725N ("but any module based on 8188 can be used" - he said) and it worked. So he unasambled that usb WiFi and soldered it to the Tablet's mainboard.
Here are his photos:

When I receive my edup little green usb wifi adapter, I will try the same as he did.
Thank you for you reply!
