I've tried Pandahome, LauncherPro and Zeam (downloaded from the market). I settled on Zeam since it seems to get back to a vertical orientation better (there's a setting under preferences/general for sensor rotation) and the wifionoff widget seems to work better than on LauncherPro. It may be all my imagination but thought I'd share since I've benefited so much from other people's work on the novel.

Thanks for the idea never heard of Zeam I will give it a try. I think I am the only one who likes AndroidMate launcher. It is very simple does not use widgets but it can turn vertical and horizontal on both ends no more fC when you accidentally turn to the left. Seems a bit similar to Launcherpro. Thanks.

Are you saying that AndroidMate will work in CCW landscape orientation? That would be the power plug dawn.
So far, AndroidMate is the only launcher that I've seen work correctly in all 4 orientations. I just don't like its non-configurable layout that keeps all of the apps icons on the main screen.

Oh well.
