Hi, I wonder why my epad doesn?t play youtube clipscan smebody please help me? thanksNote: I have android 1.6 Build 1.7.4 that came with the epad itself

Last few weeks back I am able to view online video from my default Youtube application. However, since last week I am not able to view anymore. Whenever I select to play I will receive the error like "Sorry, this video cannot be played..." I even reset to factory default and it still can't play. Anyone out there please help me.

yes the default youtube app don't seem to work but HD one still work if you switch to normal mode

I can't switch to normal mode.

When I press on the Menu button, there is no option/menu pops up. May I know how did you do it?

I managed to resolved by installing another version of Youtube application in this forum. However, you would need to select "watch in normal mode" (something like that) in the menu option. The down side is the screen is not full and the resolution is lower compare to the original Youtube. I hope that someone can crack the original Youtube app.

good that you got it working well its slow right now as every one is waiting for 2.1 once thats done flash playing will be fine.

well the thing is that with android 2.1 there is no need for flash players as you can install flash plugin and just play flash directly from the browser so developers are not working on any thing like this and VIA as crappy they are just showed there ASS after making good profit on this processor so they are not working on 2.1 either "they know there processor its crappy" we are left with small companies and few good developers who are working side by side to keep this project going

Oh! Now I know... you are referring 2.1 as android 2.1. I thought it was Youtube 2.1. However, I am using the Epad and I don't think we can upgrade the firmware with 2.1. If this is the case, then android 2.1 is not applicable for me.

Haha. Good positive thinking. I really hope that the firmware 2.1 for epad will be made available to us one day and hope is really fast.

. Just out of curiousity, have you upgraded your epad to "Slatedroid1.3-flytouch-edition V2"? Does it work well on your epad. I wonder if you can help, I purchase from Hong Kong, the box mentioned EPAD and I have the "about device" info at below:Model Number: GenericFirmware version: 1.6Kernel version: 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirtyBuild Number: 1.7.2Do you think this spec can upgrade to "Slatedroid1.3-flytouch-edition V2"?

Yes "timmy", i had a problem with my epad just recently, and i installed the Slatedroid1.3-flytouch-edition V2and it works just fine. except for the youtube app that i just cant get it to work, but everything else works perfectly

i extracted the youtube app apk from the M001's modded firmware and it works great for me!!!

If you install Skyfire and use the mobile version of youtube, means m.youtube.com, the videos will be played automatically in normal modeenjoy !!
