I installed new firmware and then installed google experience. One thing I noticed is that Youtube is now part of system services/apps. I think it is in pandigital firmware.So I was not able to install the youtube.apk as it says "failed already installed".Then I tried installed youtube, but it doesn't even start and crashes right away.PLease help !!!

Are you using PandaHome? It may be possible to uninstall the non-functional YouTube thru PandaHome. I have used it to uninstall several apps. If that works, then you can try to install the good YouTube without conflict.

Thanks for the info.I'm using "LauncherPro" and was able to uninstall the app using following commands:adb shellsumount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblk3 /systemrm /system/app/YouTu*

From what I recall I do:adb install -r You* when I want to update an app and this always works for me. I know one version of youtube I had wasn't working so I had to get another, if this is still an issue I can try to find the working one for you

Same for me I uninstalled the packaged version and installed this one too
