Not sure where this goes, but this is the closest to Windows Tablets Section you guys have. I saw these a few weeks ago but was taken off by the price, I looked closer at the specs of these:CPU : 1.66 GHZRAM : 1 GB upgradeable to 2 GBInternal Memory : 160 GB upgradeable up to 500 GBScreen Size : 10.1 Inch Touch ScreenResolution : 1024?600Operating System : Windows 7USB Ports : 3Memory Slots : SD CardWireless : Wifi b/g3G Support : YesWeight : 2.5 PoundsDimensions : 11.4 x 5.9 x 0.8 InchesAnybody know about these? It's a Chinese BRAND. As in mass produced for consumers in China. I'm probably going to go snag some.... it's been out a while now. Anybody got one or know some info? I won't be able to get myself a personal "test" unit until next week. With specs like that, it's got to be a laptop redone as a tablet. I'm drooling over the specs and wondering if I can put ubuntu on it!!!!!!!!!!

[quote name='mingnon;15995]Hey Soulstar2100' date=' i have one of these, is okay, i really like the touchscreen on it. What irks me is i have not been able to get ubuntu or other linux to work with the touchscreen. One huge issue i had was the OS software wasnt legit, so couldnt update windows software. Solved that problem with a copy of Win7 ultimate i had lying around. Works great, but the battery life isnt the best[/QUOTE'] yeah what i was assuming about them. I was going to dump ubuntu on a sd card and see if it booted up and recognized all the hardware. problem with a lot of chinese computers is the hardware and the drivers.... pain in the arse to find most and get it working if have problems and then the non-legit windows.and thanks!
