Win7 /Vista firmware install?

Are any other members having a issues installing the firmware if you have win7/vista?and if so do you have any tips for other win 7 /vista users to get the usb firmware to installany help will be greatly appreciated

I followed the instructions, but w7 kept trying to auto find drivers. I kept holding in that *&#@ menu key, went to control panel in w7 device manager, clicked on unknown device, then clicked on the option to manually find the drivers. I navigated to them clicked on them and they installed after a few seconds. I then let go of the menu button on the apad. followed the rest of the directions and it was a done deal. Hope that helped! lol[/quote]Are you using the 64 bit edition of windows 7?Does anyone have a definitive, proven way to update with windows 7 x64? Even if I have to use XP mode that would be fine.

If your answer was also, can you please expand on that? Are you saying that Windows XP Mode works? Jlove seems to say that this isn't the case and that WVware Player is required with a Windows XP 32bit virtual machine...

Winxp mode in windows 7 does not have usb hid mode. i tried to install the drivers myself but it didnt work. it works with vmware player and winxp virtualmaschine on my win7 x64 maschine
