There's been a bit of discussion about the white and black versions of the Novel and I guess everyone has seen the FCC link for the black onehttps://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas...me=N&application_id=933054&fcc_id='POTPRD07T'I wanted to post something so that maybe the better sleuths out there can have more luck than me finding out the details on the white one. This is a link to the FCC search engine.https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfmusing this you can find all the details about any device that uses any kind of communications. For the black Novel the Grantee code is POTand the Product code is PRD07TThat's all you need and you will get the results shown in the first link. POT is the company who made the black Novel. A search of them only shows 9 results. The last result is the black Novel.Every company has a unique 3 digit code and obviously a unique product code.I just looked at the back of my iPhone 3GS and it showed a FCC ID as BCGA1303ABCG is the company code for Apple and A1303A is the iPhone product codeGo ahead stick the codes in and have a look at the images etc. Pretty cool. You will notice that Apple blanked out all the chip IDs.The back of the Novel shows an FCC code of TLZ-NU706. That means the manufacturer is different so I did a search on TLZ and it gives 40 results, some of which show NU706 as the product code. Bingo, I thought. The white one is made by a different company. Sadly the product is the 802.11/b/g/n USB wireless mini card and antenna and not the actual unit. And that's where I drew a blank. The model numbers for the white and black use the same core (PRD07T10) so I wondering if there isn't an FCC for the white as it seems to be using the FCC code for the Wireless, but the black has something new in the design that needed a separate FCC test, maybe because wireless is incorporated onto the PCB.Happy hunting
