If you don't even want to do that, you can just remove launcher.apk from the app folder in the pack.
Google Experience doesn't installs into the same place as your downloaded apps, so there's really no connection at all. The space you're referring to is in /data, where as google experience installs into /system.My PDN felt much faster using a "real" launcher over the PDN junk. You're free to delete the Launcher from the GE pack (either before or after install), and it won't affect anything. I just threw it in there for people who didn't care which launcher they had, just to make sure they had one so they could leave the PD apps and access the google stuff.
