hey how is ASPHALT 6 HD on the Cube U30GT? graphics and speed??
hey jezzer for flashing the evolution rom do you just flash it over the old firmware or do you have to upgrade to official 1.06 before u flash the evo rom??
im getting mine next week just dont wana stuff it up first day! hahaha

You just flash it over what's already installed. No need to upgrade first.

I know some of you already have the Cube so I have three questions for you guys.
Firstly, does the tablet appear to have access to a heavily restricted play store ie,that some noticable gaming apps are missing.
Also, has anyone tried an emulator/ps3 bluetooth controller combo, I'm guessing its fine but I want to check.
Finally, a slightly more general tablet question, the Cube has a mini HDMI and I was planning on plugging it into a large tv. As I have heard that the sound is awful on this tablet, does sound carry through to the TVs speakers or does it only come out of the tablet.

Some are missing by default. However, if you root the tablet or use a rooted image like Evolution you can make some simple changes to build.prop and this makes most of the big titles visible. The mods are in the Cube u30gt thread but I will put them in the FAQs/guides folder too.I know some of you already have the Cube so I have three questions for you guys.

Re hdmi...I have used mine plugged into my 40 Sony 1080p TV via the HDMI port and the sound is fine. It is also fine through the headphone port.
The awful sound only relates to the sound coming out of the tablet's own speaker. This is due to the single tiny low quality speaker and/or the amplifier stage that feeds it.

even though I have a 9.7" tablet, it is a rk3066 and the gameloft games I tried should work even better on your device.
no problem with nova 3, amazing spiderman, 9 mm, men in black, ...
troubles with max payne and golf 3 but should work on 16:10 tablets.

Yes also tried 9mm, modern combat 3, Real football 2012. Very nice and smooth. Also not gameloft but I bought Mass effect infiltrator when it was on special..fantastic graphics and sound plus smooth gameplay. Samurai ii was also good.Hi,

Race of champions and GTA III now also run smoothly whereas they were choppy on earlier ROMs.
I must try Max Payne as the PC version was great. Will also try golf 3 and the other titles you mentioned.

Has anyone tried Angry Birds on their U30GT-H 10.1 tab ? When I play it on mine it does'nt look smooth. I catapult the birds they kind of fly at erratic speeds
