I have the m001 and i am happy but wanted to try a windows tablet, i picked this up http://www.buyelectronicstore.com/7...ows-mobile-ce-60-netbook-mid-m7002_p3548.htmlits horrible, you cant download any programs to it, i have tried everything, any suggestions? I have downloaded exe files and cab files and get the same message, its not compatible with this version of ce (its running windows ce 6.0) and all the programs say they are compatible. Can i put android on this and get rid of the ce?Thanks

well android will run on it but don't know how the touch screen will response but its a VIA so most of the other stuff will work see if the same device was used with android some where if so the get the firmware from them and try it

ehroof, i have a stack of wince programs that will work on this one. I had one and played about with it and wrecked it, but have kept all the files. Lemme know if you want it and i can try get it to you

sure bro, i would appreciate it, my email is [email protected]. i tried the facebook app from windows and that also said not compatible, i have done some research and its possible that the compression or should say uncompression software is not there and thats why i get the not compatible message, i wrote the place i bought it form and waiting on a reply.

sorry got itchy with the "enter" button then.i didnt install any of the ones i used. i had them on the sd card and created shortcuts on the desktop and ran all of them from the card.

i have tried, i get the message "there is no applicaion associated with "m". run the application first, then open this file from within the application"all other programs say they are not a valid windows ce setup file. this tablet seems to be pretty worthless compared to the m001, the operating system anyways.

i just downloaded and extracting to my sd card as we speak. I will let you know how it goes.

ok, put the sd card in, started to try out some apps and they were working good, missle command, and some others. shut the tablet down and we went out for a while, came home a few hours later, wanted to go thru some more programs and nothing works, the power indicator comes on but no screen or noise. Took the sd card out and tried again and same thing, too the battery out and put it back in and still same thing. Any suggestions?

ok, got it going again, dont know how but its working.

hmmm only thing i can think of is it didnt shut down, it was put in suspend mode.

lots of programs, its a nice bundle but seems most lock this machine up or dont start up. I will go threw some more programs today. Thanks for the link though, its the first time i was able to download something and get it to work.
