Volume and 7-18 firmware

FYI. I installed the latest firmware last night.This morning, when trying to adjust the volume with headphones on, the volume was at a static level of MAX regardless of where I moved the slide.I RESET the PDN (paperclip + reset hole), and all is fine now. BTW, anyone else hear that ringing sound?
