Unless highly pixelated and choppy video are your thing, I wouldn't waste time trying to use this device for Video. Even when you find the right encoding for it and get working video files (which are hit and miss, 2 different files, same encoding, one may play the other may not) the playback experience is horrible.If you want a low cost video tablet, the Archos 7 HT is a good choice for $199 from Amazon. I got mine today, and while it is more expensive, if you need video the small difference is worth it (esp since the Archos device gets more battery life with video playback and wifi on than the Eken does with wifi off and just being used as a reader). The Eken has other advantages, but video isnt its strong suit.
