HiMy eken makes a cool remote for my wd hd tv media player.both devices are wireless and using wireless router but I think they could both operate in adhoc mode to dispense with the router if required.Here are some screenshots

So, does the media player device have some sort of web interface? How exactly are you using your M001 as a remote?

Yes the wd tv is running a webserverThe eken controls what the wd tv does via this interfacecheers
