Can anyone help I can't seem to get the usb to work. I've tried different usb drives 1gb, 4gb and 16gb they all seem to do the same thing.I set it to host mode and attach the drive to the lead that came with the apad the whole thing seems to flash with the usb drives lights and when I go into /usb1 it is empty I have tried both usb ports but similar thing is occurring.I am currently using the 4.5 custom image. Thanks

I have changed the settings to host mode, and all the drives are formatted to fat32. I haven't tried plugging in the memory stick before booting it up, I'll give that a go once I get home. Does any one else have any other suggestions just in case that doesn't work. Thanks.

I'd take that as a sign of that the USB port hasn't enough current to feed the USB stick properly. Either your USB stick is very "hungry", or your USB port "sub par". Only solution I can think of, is to use a powered USB hub.

Thanks Zilver I am thinking my USB port maybe sub par since the flickering seems to occur on 3 different flash drives.

Ok, i beg your pardon, i just had the wrong tols to browse my device ^^Linda Filemanager did show me my (100mAh) stick just fine.To find the power consumption of your stick you need to find the USB HUB on which the stick is plugged in in the Device manager.

HiI just do Safe Remove in Windows but you can also, on the Android Home screen, Press and HOLD on the Top Bar then Drag down and it should then show "Turn off USB Storage"

Tried to use the top bar but I can't even see the flash drive there. It says "no notification"For now I'm turning my device off to properly unmount the usb flash drive.
