Most of the unbooxings for this device have mentioned a break out cable so that one may plug in USB devices. Hopefully we can use this thread to keep a list of what works and what doesn't. Here is hoping keyboards do.

The WM8505 supports 2 USB2.0 host connections and 1 USB device connection. One of the USB2.0 connections is being used by the internal WiFi device.I think the 30-pin (ipod) connector might have the other USB2.0 host on it. A cable would be easy to make if we knew the pinout.

momokun12:Yeah, as gevrik said. You will find the directory in the file explorer, and the folder is either /usb1 or /usb2. Hello everybody, same problem here, activated host mode, plugged in USB-3G-Stick, but no connection, no message, no notification, nothing ???!!USB-3G found network, but didn't connect.Do I have to install additional software, or do I have to make some changes in the network settings. Please step by step guide ??!!Sorry .... Thank you !Greetings,Oliver
It really depends on the stick. If it is one that installs drivers or a user interface/gateway software when you plug it into a Windows PC, then it will most probably not work on any other device either without that software.Newer sticks seem to be much better in that regard and do not need a software or drivers to be installed. I saw one from Vodafone that should work with any device. My 3gstick from ? does not work.

O.K., bad news, because I got such a stick. But !!http://chinagrabber.com/huawei-e160-3g-usb-modem-for-apad-mobile-phones.aspxDescription:....The E160 can be used with your APad to let you access the internet through your 3G or 2G SIM card's data plan. ....I got the same usb-3g like this one (HUAWEI E160).By the way I bought there, at Chinagrabber, my apad... So this (my) stick have to work, or ??Thanks again !Oliver
