Hello,

I just flashed my device with the latest Official ICS build, and I have quite a few apps that are chinese language only, and cannot be uninstalled.

Ones I have found so far include:
  • QQ
  • Dolphin browser
  • The last defender
  • Opera
  • UC Browser
  • An orange box with a "g" in it
  • Bluebackground with a box with the letter k in it

I cant uninstall these as they appear to be configured as system apps.

Anyone have a work around for this?

Edit: I should add that this isnt just an issue for this firmware, I have noticed that this occurs with quite a number of the recent ones.

Ok, using a copy of root explorer I had around, I was able to delte them from system/apk

If you didnt have root explorer, how would you do it?

Is there any potential problems with doing it this way?

Titanium Backup free allows you to uninstall apps...that's what I used.
