Since installing the latest firmware update 7-24, bookstore won't update. Any one else?

Does/has anyone reported this to support at Pandigital??Not the hacking part but since the 7-24 software loads this hasn't worked.

Manage and order from the web site then download with the "Get Books" feature on the Pandigital. The newer firmware (7-24) works better for me in 90% of the cases and I find it better to get books via a PC anyway becasue there is a better search feature.

I spoke with PDN tech support a few days ago about that and several other problems that have been noticed. They are working on a new firmware release to resolve the issues created by the 7/24 image.

Well, Pandigital must have gotten a lot of calls - as of a few minutes ago, the 7-18 version is what's on the download page.

I also have the same problem to update Bookstore although I have not updated firmware. My firmware is 7-5. It returns "No Internet Connection" although my WiFI works fine. Any suggestions?

Since I'm no longer using the out-of-the-box home app shipped with the PDN, I can't speak for the 7_24 code in that environment, but it's working A-Ok using pandahome with the GE pkg and a working Market app. I've no complaints at this point.J

I went out there to check too and it looks like the 7/24 FW was pulled and the 7/18 was place back.. I will give them credit, they are trying...

Got home this afternoon and the update loaded with no problem.Maybe this has been a B&N server problem.I haven't changed anything on my PDN_it just started working again!?!?WTF?

I'm having the same issues. When I called customer service yesterday, I was told that it was a server issue and should correct itself in a few days. OT--It was so nice to speak to a REAL person when I called them! Kim/SC

I just ran the update again, after many tries over the past few days, and IT WORKED!! I now have the Bookstore on the 7_24 firmware.

Mine still won't update. Time and date are correct.

B&N updates fine for me now on the 7-24 firmware. Started working yesterday.
