This new firmware fixes many issues with the early 2.3.4 release, and improves it even more. Not only that, but it is ROOTed, and all the Chinese apps are removed and default is now English. This has English only at the moment, but a multi-language release is mentioned for the near future.

The Market works very well, and Skype, Facebook, Dolphin etc. are now visible.

Many thanks to Nebular Nerd for all the hard work. Check out the blog post for all the release details.

Enjoy!

An additional benefit of this firmware is that the CPU now runs at 1GHz (up from 800MHz) - confirmed in Quadrant.
Obviously, this will reduce your battery run time, but the performance does seem better.

Also, I tried a mini Bluetooth USB dongle in the USB Host port, and it works fine. So far, I have paired a keyboard, mouse and Holux BT GPS unit. All work fine.

Does anyone know anything about a 4.03 rom? I just bought one, and it shipped with this. Seems incompatible with most Market/Google Play apps, and the bluetooth manager I was able to find an APK for.
