UDROIDX 1.5.5 WM8650 ROM

NEWEST. Flash Player ready, Improved WIFi- Sound-Battery-New Icons-New Launcher.
FASTEST. Ready to install on a lot of WM8650 powered tablet.

Built on the 1.5.5 firmware WM8650;

BEFORE FIRMWARE UPDATING please back-up the env_uboot and wmt_scriptcmd files from your devices factory firmware you could need it later if env_uboot in list are not working for you!!!

To install do the following:
Format a SD card to FAT32
Extract the contents of the zip file to your SD card.

Sure you are able to do the following:

Choose your env.uboot file under Firmwareinstalle/env according your device and rename env_uboot, delete all the others you founded in directory .

Eventually insert SD card into your device and power on ; upgrade will run automatically. Once it's finished wait 1 min. before removing your SD card .
The device will reboot and you can have a cup of coffe!!
PLEASE WAIT… and be patient, it needs 4-5 min.

The system loading screen stucked for more than 5 minutes , NO PANIC ...... try another env_uboot or BETTER IDEA use the env_uboot and wmt_scriptcmd files from your devices factory firmware.

Known BUGS: Battery indicator 100%

Thanks EVERYBODY who helped !

Use at your own risk !!!!!

"Known BUGS: Battery indicator 100%"

Have you tried adding this line:
setenv wmt.vt160x.bat 0:1:10:0

For me it always work
One thing I never succeeded is the reversed gsensor problem
Do you know anything helpful?

Awesome, running on merimobile mid v7, so far so good thanks

fix above does work for the battery indicator.

i had to use the modroid v10 env_uboot for touch screen to work. and everytime i copy over the system folder sdcard messes up so i left it for now cos the kids are screaming at me for their mid.

Is there a reason why you must use 4shared.com to post up your ROM on? I don't mind waiting for a download link but 6 minutes is rather a long time compared with sites like MediaFire, IMHO. Anyway - I'll give this a go again later tonight perhaps. I too trashed my system when I tried to copy 2.3.5 over.

EDIT: OK I decided to go ahead and try it again, and it crashed again. Bottom line, you can't copy over system files while the system is in use, and you can't rename the system folder and then copy them over because the system then becomes unuseable. So I don't think that whole "copy 2.3.5 system files" thing is going to fly.

Like every other ROM with a firmware higher than 1.5.1, I can't get wifi to work unless I copy the 1.5.1 uzImage.bin file to it first.
did you receive "unsuccesful" messagge or device is not able to scan at all?
I had some probelm at the beginning, after two-three attempts , finally did work for me!

Will try to copy system folder before install and see what happens tonight. The kids say its running good though with 2.2. I installed it, set up wifi and they haven't needed anything since, in my opinion, that's a great review.
