Is there any merit in getting Nook (B&N store, I presume) to work? Obviously, when you reversed the hack, it's back into its nonworking stupor. This little toy is full of moronic riddles. E.g., Stock Calendar doesn't work at all, right? Wrong. It's just busy reporting on you to The GOOG as the user of unauthorized Android device. I learned the hard way: deleted it first, installed Jorte, and here we go: Calendar launcher is back from the dead! Again, the corresponding service pops up literally every second. Talk about persistence, heh. Kill the beast more thoroughly, and you'll be cast out of The Market. Now, this is just a nuisance. Much more dangerous is the PDN's (mod 8-06, and all previous versions) habit to get out of boot with "Damaged SD card". Card is perfect, formatted inside the silly toy, and comes back with couple of resettings. Flashing the new FW with such a trait is a sheer torture: I disconnected my battery like 4 times, to restart the flashing process. That's why I beg our Gurus to present to us unwashed masses a PC flashing utility for the next ROM we oh so hope will get out the Padlock crap, solve orientation problems, bring back haptic sounds for the keyboard (both Panda and PDN, plus Home now have lost them mysteriously, Alarm is silent, no system-wide screen orientation lock toggle button, some more rants)All in all, Google Experience is not about *your* experience of Google, it's Google experiences you. Like Orwellian TV that watches you, not the other way around. By the way, theres nothing interesting to watch at the Market (to those w/out GE), it's one big unstructured dump.
