I hope it will be a better success then the as100/folio.
I would be interested in one if its a good build as I use a Toshiba laptop and its been solid and excellent quality.

I have a different view of toshiba , I had a pretty sweet laptop and the video card on the motherboard crapped out , so figuring it was lark got another one guess what same thing

Sounds like a bad model that one, my Satellite P200-D has been fantastic.

Gentlemen:

I have had good luck with Toshiba -- have had two laptops and both did well.

But I am sure Toshiba is just like all the other companies -- you can get
a great one and once in a while there are "lemons."

One of the things that has impressed me most in the "pre" part of the
Thrive has been Toshiba's presentation. They have excellent promotion materials
and seem to have given a lot of thought to what to put in it. Their proposed
selection of accessories also is excellent.

I'm stilling digging for more info, though, so if any finds a D/L version of
the product manual or other more technical info -- please post.....

Everyone,

FYI, I am getting unhappy with this "Tracking" site. I am beginning
to think it isn't reliable.

I have my Thrive on pre-order with NewEgg, so as a part of my routine
I keep up with going on at NewEgg (for whatever value that is!!!).

This site has been showin NewEgg all "Out of Stock" for days now when
actually only the 32 Gig model is "Out of Stock".

On top of that, I sent them a message updating the info and asking them
to do so as well. Heard nothing and nothing changed.

So my current opinion on this site is "Don't rely on it. Forwarned is
forwarned!!!"

This tablet will have everything I need. I hope because this tablet has all of the connectivity that other tablets dont have that it will have the support of the development community. Some people are reporting getting their shipping notices. Should be an exciting week. My sons excited because he will get my beloved g tab once my Thrive comes in.
