Sorry for the double post...I put this in the introductions forum but it seems more people hang out here. Receiving Tablet tomorrow...top things to do first? Hey everyone! GREAT community support here for Droid Tab users - it was a big reason I bought an Android tablet for my wife! I got the Eken M001.It gets here tomorrow, and I've seen lots of various posts about different things to do to prep your new pad right out of the box in terms of updating the os, removing certain apps, etc. But I haven't found one concise "to-do list" of the top suggestions for a brand new tablet. Can anyone help me with this? What are the top 5-10 things I need to do first before it is really user-ready? Thanks in advance!!!

I know this will sound stupid but before you do anything like flashing etc check that everything works for a few days. The power supply on these Eken's are not the best in the world and could crap out on you at any moment, my first lasted the whole of 15 mins but a replacement has been OK.Get a good quality SD card and not some ebay Hong Kong special deal, these are known to die and if your planning on adding a swap partition or file you need the quality (also you dont want your files to get deleted - been there done that). After that look at a custom firmware as these (and there is an excellent range) will make vast improvments over the original Eken firmware.
