I took apart the casing to add a USB hub... the screen glitched, and that's all she wrote... I reseated the NAND module, took it all apart and rebuilt it, etc, all to no avail....This just totally blows...
Specifically I was flashing it with my .5 release and all of a sudden it hung at Erasing NAND, then after 30 minutes I turned it off, turned it back on, it flashed fine, turned it off, turned it back on, and THAT is the point where it flashed all kinds of weird colors and blew up. Now I hit the button and it turns on, and instead of having to hold the button down, I can just press it and it turns back off. No activity.
Hmm.... any scorching/burning remains? you may have fried something. I would also check the battery thoroughly, I saw on another board where someone's had exploded. If you can't find a solution, I would also gladly take the broken unit.
