that review was pretty stupid, the entire unit worked fine, and when he was playing youtube he didn't press play or let skyfire load which is there to play flash videos.Personally i've been really impressed with the touch screen overall and it was one of my biggest concerns

The reviewer is an ipad/apple user . Secondly this is engadget where they are as impartial as they come for any reviews on something not made industrial grade awesome. I watched the review the full way through. This fellow was expecting an Ipad class equipment in a netbook price range. Listen to his review complaining about the speed, the response, the way the system renders. Heck he doesn't use youtube and wonders why stuff doesn't start when he doesn't hit the play button. As an average consumer picking up a tablet for the first time and trying to play with the device this is the experience you will see time and time again. Is the Zenpad4 ready for mass consumption? Probably no more than the OLPC was, but it's a start and for folks who are ready to get down and dirty hacking and configuring the device with REASONABLE expectations we will do just fine with it. Take this review with a grain of salt and a shot of whisky.

what battery life are u getting from it ?
I got about 3 hours out of it yesterday, read maybe 5 or 6 issues of some comics, played with the settings, nothing major, watched a 20min video, and thats pretty much all I did, with wifi off.I was reading something else when i was looking for batteries that says that litium whatever batteries need to be charged a few times before they reach their full capacity, so maybe after i've used it for a few more days, drained the battery and charged it back up a few times i'll get a proper battery life out of it.The battery on the 1st day took about an hour to charge and now im doing the second charge its taking a good 2 or 3 hours to reach full charge, so i'm hoping thats a good thing and its getting better. The battery lasted a few minutes and died on out of the box and I gave it a full charge right out the box so i know its not taking longer to charge just because the battery was initially half full or whatever.
