Current versions of the Android OS do not support connecting to Ad Hoc Wifi Connections.... however, the wifi connection that is broadcast by an Android phone is Ad Hoc. I hear there are some potential hacks/fixes for this, so I'm hoping one of the ROM developers will add it to their ROM.
