I ran a few timed trials for setting Swapper size on my M003. I have an 8gb microSD card and running the rooted ROM Caffeine with SDK 1.7.4. I have to manually turn ON Swapper on reboot. I opened 6 different web browser and had a total of 10 applications running with only 75mb of my swap was being used. So I wanted to see how long 256mb was taking to create versus all other sizes. Results ran 3 to 5 times, eliminating anything outside 10% range.Time in seconds16MB 13s32MB 15s64MB 25s96MB 32s128MB 38s192MB 55s256MB 72sMy new settings for Swapper will be 128MB. My Caffeine ROM takes 3 minutes to boot and autocreate for Swapper does not work. Anyone else take this long to boot with their ROM? Next I want to figure out what Swappiness value is the best. I have mine set to 100 for now.
Myth Busted, more swap size isn't better, 10 open applications only used 75mb of swap, so speed to size 128MB is the winner.

Ah your probably right, I used in my rom the PC-paradigm of having at least as much SWAP as real Memory.Without swapper but ADB-aktiated SWAP i don't need to rebuild the swapfile on every reboot (I just need to aktivate it again) so it's of no concern for me.
