so i attempted to do the market fix, installed jave, emulator, created google account, finished set... now im stuckwhen i type the directory of my tools folder and enteradb shell sqlite3 /data/data/com.google.android.googleapps/databases/accounts.db "select * from meta";nothing happensgrrrrrranyone?

What do you get with commandadb devicesYou should see something likeE:android-sdk-windowstools>adb devicesList of devices attachedemulator-5554 deviceif not make sure the emulator is still up and running you are trying to get the androidId from it.

not following what your saying :-(is there anyother type of way to retrieve the id besides this method

Did you pull the accounts.db from your device to your Folder ???If there is another way i'm sure you will find it here at the board , but for the moment i didn't find it.
