Everyone,
Here is some speculation about some interesting info I ran across
researching the Toshiba Thrive Tablet:
I was looking for manuals, documents, etc. that might tell us more. In
the process, I found info for the 8, 16 and 32 GB drive models which
we all know about now.
Also listed on the same chart, however, is a Model AT105-SP0160M, which
to the best of my knowledge is an as yet unknown model.
The "160" makes me think of 160 GB hard drives since it is in the part
of the number which models use to show storage capacity. So I looked
for other Toshiba products with the 160 in it and it turned out there
is a mini-notebook (read "netbook") which has a 160 GB drive. It had
an Atom N455 processor, 1GB memory, 3 USB ports, an SD card reader and
the hard drive.
SPECULATION: Could this be a future Windows-based Thrive Tablet -- or
some kind of netbook-convertible tablet?
Inquiring minds would like to know. If you hear or find anything, please
post the info here.
