I want to buy this so bad but it doesn't actually rotate the screen? Must be a way to bind one of the hardware buttons to rotate the screen since this thing does not have an G-sensor. If not, can someone recommend a tablet that has a long battery price for a price under 300 bucks?I am getting desperate to find something worth while.

The SmartQ V7 actually can rotate its screen from landscape to portrait. You will need to go to settings -> Sound & Display -> Switch Orientation and select the orientation you want. FYI, the firmware has been updated and the resolution is now tablet optimize whereby the icons are smaller.

One more thing, if you purchase or upgraded the new firmware, just press and hold the Menu button and you will be able to rotate the screen.
