Update: I just got the original firmware sent via customer service.. but do not know if it would work or not.. Just updating..I'm scared cuz the firmware I flashed it with was for a Cortex A9 device.
I have a Sansui Etab 801 Cortex A8 Android Tablet. It got stuck in boot loop and after trying several firmwares which didnt work, kept asking for uImage_recovery, uImage, u-boot-aml-ucl.bin, factory_update_param.aml etc file. After some search I came across a ROM, for Ramos tablet, I used it cuz it has the uImage_recovery, uImage, u-boot-aml-ucl.bin, factory_update_param.aml files etc. When I inserted it into the TF card and did an upgrade, the device would not start up at all. Just some lights on the controls.
When I insert into PC, it recognizes it as M3-chip, I found out about the AML flashing tool.. but I havent been successful with the original firmware for this device, and their support is really bad.
I found out that the firmware I flashed it with was for a Cortex A9 device...
I am somewhere in Africa, please help revive my tablet!
