Good to know. Those are the same instructions I used to root the PD Novel. How's the battery life on the gentouch?
Can this be achieved using terminal emulator from the device? Thanks in advance

I feel for window users. if i have to use a windows computer for this stuff it is too difficult, that os is not user freindly at all. I was trying to use a windows machine to copy some files, and it was way too hard to do. cant imagine trying to do adb stuff from windows

On my eken M001, i had to adb connect via wifi.
Ims till having no luck with this, ive installed all teh drivers and still ADB is not detecting it. Can some one do a dumb persons step by step please!
look in the PDN board. This is a recurrent theme, and usually has to do with setting the device id in the inf file. You may also have to delete and reinstall all your usb drivers. We're about to create an all adb all the time board, because this is a problem with all devices on all OS's. You heard it here first.

From here ADB should work.

I am sorry but the windows is too hard to use, the simplified things so much, as too make it too complicated and frustrating

or... get a pdn. Just a thought...
Reinstalling SDK as Android phone is not listed.
