Hi,

I'am new with tablets, I own a Pipo M1 and want to get the best out of it.
Now are some chinese apps Preinstalled. Maybe they are supressing the performens of the tablet.

Can I see if it is rooted in the information screen in menu setting?

And is it usefull to flash a new firmware?

Hi Frank,
Most Chinese tablets come with their own apps. Most of them are useless and annoying. The original firmware varies from tolerable to moderate.
Installing a customized firmware will give you so much more out of your tablet.
The best way to go is install a firmware that has been around for a while (use the latest version) and has been tested by many users.
