have you tried to disable usb-debugging on the Pad?

I've tried both with and without usb-debugging on my pad - exactly the same outcome. Cheers

something a bit peculiar has happened to me before, that might be of a similar manner to your problems.
Connect the pad to the PC
Open up a file explorer on the pad.

In my case the PC would not see the pad until I fired up my file explorer (the File Manager HD (Tablet))
Give it a try

Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried it but still no change. My pc does recognise the pad, but only as a media device (or a camera, if I select that option). The "mass storage" option is greyed out on my pad so I can't select it there and when I update the driver, my pc doesn't give me the option of "MTP USB". Go figure!

ps. Although I'm no expert, I do know my way around pcs and pads (installed loads of diff roms and jailbroken etc). I use pc every day (for the last 15 years) so I am reasonably competent in this area - but this has got me stumped!

Is Mass Storage some extra option in this ROM because Google only support MTP devices in ICS and upwards now so it's more likely due to that.

You need to install an MTP driver. Try the one for the Galaxy Nexus http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1368639&page=2

Is there a way to connect a hannspad (running this rom) to a PC?

I have tried but only have options "Media device" or "Camera" and even then there are no files showing up on my PC.

I've tried searching but can't find this mentioned anywhere.

Here is "step by step" what I do (inc screenshots), following these instructions:

So, in order to "Browse my computer", I have to check this and click "Next":

There are no options available for me to Pick from a list of Device Drivers - so I can't proceed from here

if you use xp you have to disable USB-debugging on the pad.
on ICS ther is no support for mass-storage only mtp-device or camera
you must enable mtp-device (media) on settings-->storrage-->extended
if your driver is installed correctly you should find a mobile device at computer
double klick on it and you should see your internal SD and externel sd if you have any in use

Or you could transfer files over wifi using ES File Explorer on the tablet from shared file on your PC.

Hi everybody
I am currently running Team WolfMod 4.0.4 ICS, but over time by using different roms my boot screen has changed from the Hannspad logo to viewsonic.
my problem is i have the file to change it back but i dont know which part i need to download it to because i formatted it last with a NVFlash from Team DRH to use that rom ICS ver 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and i have read some say 7 other say 6 and so on I tryed it once me and my hannspad entered a world of pain this is the cmd line i used

nvflash --bl bootloader.bin --download 7 logo.bmp

I know this is a minnor issue but I would lke to sort it out

why you do not flash the orginal backup back to your hannspad?
your cmd-line ist the right one you need to download the splash-screen.
the splash-screen is normally loceted in the BLO-partition
check the partition.txt of your current nvbackup and seach for the BLO partition
then replace the partition in your cmdline against the BLO-partitionid you found in the partition.txt

the matter is that the nvflash provided by team drh is for gtab.
it looks the same but we don't have the same number of partitions.
in fact we have more, that's why 'bootlogo' is part7 for hannspad only
in gtab part7 is 'misc'
and the second thing is that the .bct file (and others) for gtab is not the same as the one for hannspad.
a user in our french forum has done the correct job for our hannspad (.bct changed, .cfg file modified and other files changed)

and then after you could change the bootlogo with part7 (as you now have the correct partitioning for your hannspad)
