Installed fine for me today. Upgraded CWM first after installing the latest Hannspree ROM.

Only oddity I noticed was the wifi light seems to flicker.

I think that's because it's showing disk usage rather than a wifi connection.

I'm liking it a lot. Chrome is still awful but most interactions with it are snappy and stable.

The heapsize is set at 256mb by default! It's worth tweaking your build.prop to change that.

you need a backup from the Hannspad with the big partitions like Fards or mikaole.
If you have your own backup you can edit the hannsconf_guide.cfg and replace this lines

1. put the rom on SD card
2. flash the modified nvbackup
3. factory reset, wipe cache
4. flash 2x StockRom6039 (to ignore BadBlocks if there any)
5. flash the TouchRecovery
6. factory reset, wipe cache and Delvic cache
7. flash the rom
8. factory reset, wipe cache and Delvic cache
9. reboot Hannspad

Stil wondering about Jelly Bean. They say its going to need a system partition of 300+ mb. Hoping they will find a work-arround for that problem as well.

But no need to see problems ahead. We got many guys working on it. If there is a solution for this partition size i would be glad to know about this.....So feel free
to keep me in the loop ??????

Is there a patched wpa_supplicant available that works with this mod to give us ad-hoc network access? (If not: is the source code for this mod available somewhere so I can compile one myself?)

Is there a way to connect a hannspad (running this rom) to a PC?

I have tried but only have options "Media device" or "Camera" and even then there are no files showing up on my PC.

I've tried searching but can't find this mentioned anywhere.

Open Device Manager and find the offending MTP device.
Right-Click and choose Update Driver Software
Then choose Browse My Computer for Driver Software
Then click Let Me Pick From a List of Device Drivers on My Computer
Then choose All Devices
When that list populates choose Standard MTP Device followed by MTP USB Device
Click Yes to the warning and VIOLA!

This #4 at the driver could be the problem. Maybe you have installed the driver not properly and there are some pieces left from an older installation.

I would clean up the system complete from that driver. Check manual that all files deleted, then reboot windows xp

And there is another hint in your device manager. Your onboard audio device has a problem with hd audio codec driver. Possible it has nothing to do with the portable device driver, but for shure I would repair the audio driver installation at first after cleanup the hannspad driver.

Thanks! This is driving me nuts, I can't see an option for "MTP USB". The only option is MTP Device. How can I get it to show me "MTP USB"?
