Guys try antibytes hybrid kernel I have been running at 1.2 ghz nice and stable and even faster.

The hybrid is "a mix of AB/Fards/Rotation's 2.6.32 kernel mods and some stuff from the stock kernel sources."

Try running smartbench 2011 before and after to see if there is any performance increase.

I use CWM v5.0.2 on my 1653 Pad

Your ROM with hybrid kernelv3 works a treat!

To me it looks like Dave's Pad screen is buggered.

My Setup with Chris1a1 Rom

is the Hybryid Kernel v3

I use the Volume rocker to wake from sleep, on the odd occasion I have to tap the volume rocker then tap the power button, SOD is a fairly rare event.

I hope this helps anyone suffering SOD's

Edit There is setting to wake tablet with volume under Settings> Input Settings> Buttons> Volume Rocker Wake
