For people following this thread. CT now has a 1.5Ghz Kernel built for the C93/C97. It is very fast now. I'm sure he will be posting this info in a bit. We soon hope to fix the Gsensor problems in some 3 axis games by eliminating the ecompass. But we are waiting on some information from Zenithink first.

Updated mali libraries

Common folder includes a new kernel that works up to 1.5 ghz, to be able to use this frequencies you should change entry "ro.sys.max_cpu_on=1200000" present /system/build.prop file to "ro.sys.max_cpu_on=1320000" for 1.3 GHz or "ro.sys.max_cpu_on=1512000" for 1.5 GHz.
Recovery has been updated with TWRP 2.3.2.3 (a touch recovery, very cute).

To install it just replace the zt-update folder in your microsd and after booting to recovery (you have to manually trigger it with the buttons combination, not using the reboot to recovery android command) flash the update for mali libraries.

Just flashed your rom yesterday on my C93 (which was under ICS 4.0.1) and so far, everything works fine (including wall charging and deep sleep mode) except the wallpaper layout bug mentionned by n1tr0. In fact it looks like when the tablet is in "landscape", the "portrait" cropped image is used and vice-versa. That could be linked to Trebuchet, haven't tried another launcher yet.

And then, an update

I'm gonna try this one out and tell if it fixes this. Just to make sure I'm doing thinks right, I update my sdcard/zt-update whith the content of "Common 2012-12-03 for C93", put updated-mali-libs-c93-c97.zip in the root of the card, boot in recovery and chosse to flash only this latest file ?

Yes.install a thirds party launcher for your problem. Something like Nova or apex

Indeed, I tried Nova and the wallpaper layout is OK, so Trebuchet was the cause.

About the last update, after flashing it I faced many freezes on the C93. Just to be sure, I uninstalled nova and reverted the ro.sys.max_cpu_on value to 1200000 : still freezing. Occured randomly though, sometimes it could freeze after 10 minutes, sometimes right on the unlock screen.
I tried to restore a backup made with TWRP (nice UI btw) just before flashing the update for mali libs, the tablet just wouldn't boot at all after restoring.
So I finally flashed back the whole thing with CM10 2012-11-17, and so far it's stable.

I've supplied this kernel with 1.5 GHz support but there's a reason why Amlogic disabled it. They are not supposed to run stable at higher frequencies on every CPU.
The tablet didn't boot because you had to restore the previous kernel. Zenithink boot loader doesn't let flash boot images from recovery.

Hi, I understand of Linux kernel, I make packages for Fedora Project and rpmfusion , I work with MesaGL I'm a member of X.org etc etc, I saw that you have a kernel update 3.0.8 , why 3.0 when we are in 3.6 , I'd like to help, for example I could help in support of 3g dongles since I test it Networkmanager and usb_modeswitch on Linux laptops.

About Common 2012-12-03 for C93 and Updated mali libraries, I see that I update kernel in my tablet , but don't know when it as updated , was when boot the new /zt-update ?

I turn off tablet ( which means turn off screen) , but not enter in sleep mode (S3) (green leed doesn't off).
Battery charge in port of charging seems to work better (red led on) .

I think I found what prevents table enter in sleep mode , after enable/disable some options on developer mode , the sleep works ( green led off and blink 5 in 5 seconds more or less) , so I disable all developer mode , and I thinking that is sleeping well .

This is my first tablet and first device that I'm hacking with Android, so this still for me a little confuse.
I back to OEM Rom from zenithink ( ZT283_H6_1f_1GB_Android4.1_1122_V1.3 ), after disable wifi, green led goes totally off and power consumption is near to 0. Tablet could be in stand by, almost a week .
I had try it, settings -> developers tools -> apps -> don't keep activities, in CM10 which also improves sleep state but led green sometimes flash, now don't.
But also, could be some app that I had install, I had 800 mega bytes of apps installed, I had a backup with titanium root app and get many apps from profile of my android phone ( which just use stock ROM, never rooted or flash it, yet

I spoke too soon on the 1.5Ghz. I don't recommend it. It's more trouble than it's worth at this point. I think these chips are too unstable at that speed.

It's the new YouTube version (4.2.16). I have disinstalled it and reinstalled the previous version (4.1.47) and YouTube works again.

Love this ROM Thankyou very much to Christian and Frank. It runs flawless on my c93...apart from lock screen stuck in portrait mode and cant find an option to change it to landscape but that's a minor niggle.

One quick question which is cm10 unrelated. When playing a game or scrolling through a menu (screen is moving) the whole screen seems to flicker/shimmer (like a low CRT screen refresh rate) .. is this normal or should it be dead still? I've Googled for hours and can't find a thing about it!

just the same as cm10.1, but the versions for cm10 linked in the OP: common, rom and gapps (if you're using a c93 the comp zip too)
