If you appreciate my work and would like to support me with a small donation you can click on button.
If every happy user of this rom would just donate a couple per month I could invest more time in all these Android projects, it'd cost you just like one coffee per month.

Instructions

* Unrar the "common" rar file and put "zt-update" folder to the root of a microsd.
* Put rom (cm-10.1-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-c97.zip) and gapps (gapps-jb-$DATE-signed-ubifs.zip) files inside internal or external sdcard.
* Turn on the tablet keeping pressed VOL+ and POWER. Press VOL+ to confirm and you'll boot to CWM recovery.
* If this is your first install flash this file that will format /system, /data and /cache partitions and from "Wipe" menu erase "Android secure".
* Flash rom (cm-10.1-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-c97.zip), gapps (gapps-jb-$DATE-signed-ubifs.zip) and, if you're using a different device, the required compatibility zip.
* Now select "Reboot system now".
* Enjoy CyanogenMod 10.1!

Changelog & download links

2013-05-18

* Updated upstream sources

Common 2013-03-03
ROM (md5sum)
Gapps 2013-03-01

Compatibility files for C93 H6 1F

Common 2013-03-03
Compatibility v1.1

Compatibility files for C93 H6 2F

TWRP recovery (create a folder named "zt-update" in your MicroSD and unzip there the recovery.img file; the bootloader will do the rest when you use the buttons trigger combination)
Compatibility v1.1

Note that if you're running the latest C93 stock firmware "ZT283_H6_2f_1GB_Android4.1_0202_V1.6" you will have to use this TWRP and this comp zip.
If you accidentaly used the previous files you'll see that partition's got fucked up and you'll have to flash the stock firmware to fix them

Issues

* Use another launcher (I suggest you "Nova" or "Apex") because Trebuchet screws the layout.
* Bluetooth stack has changed: USB bluetooth is not working right now; only devices with UART (internal) bluetooth works.
* If your device has only a front camera you won't have a camera launcher icon, but you can install this app

FAQs

* If you don't like Nexus 7 fingerprint and wanna use SGS-II instead flash this zip. Remember that changing fingerprint may screw Play Store, if it happens you'll have to perform a "wipe data / factory reset".
* WiFi now can stay enabled with display turned off. Note that if WiFi is enabled the tablet won't enter deep sleep so if you're more interestead in battery life instead of an always on WiFi change policy (on "Advanced" WiFi settings) from "Always" to "Never".
* Internal memory is mounted at /storage/sdcard0, external sdcard is mounted at /storage/sdcard1. If you wanna swap them (and make primary your real microsd) just flash this file after flashing rom's zip (you have to do it everytime you flash a new version of the rom)
* If you wanna format your internal memory (it's corrupted, filled of crap, etc.) just flash this file from recovery. If it fails try to unmount internal storage from "Mount" section.
* It's better if you don't change governor because the included "ondemand" has been customized to support "boostpulse" feature of jelly bean power hal. You can control min/max cpu frequency with display on/off editing these entries in /system/build.prop file (they're listed with their default value): "ro.sys.min_cpu_on=408000", "ro.sys.max_cpu_on=1200000", "ro.sys.min_cpu_off=96000", "ro.sys.max_cpu_off=1008000".

How can I just make the ROM update and keeping my apps and everything else without format?

well, do not format, just flash the new things
, i. e. Rom, Gapps, (compatibility) and restart. just to be safe, be sure to back it up before

Hi, I've been following this for a little while, and first of all awesome work!
I tried flashing the touch recovery file (as a zt-update) as described in the instructions for a C93. The flash worked, however the recovery didn't seem to be working properly. I tried a backup to see if the recovery was working before i tried to flash the rom and it was unsuccessful.
Has anyone got an idea of where i'm going wrong? or anyone had the same kind of problem?
Thanks in advance
what does the twrp log say? it's the icon in the top right

Hi,

Note: I remember that with JB 4.1.1 OFFICIAL by zenithink camera worked great. Is it possible use the kernel or something like that?
Cheers

is it a 2f?

@xcode
the black camera pictures is a known kernel problem, just ignore the camera and use it only for videochat, it sucks anyway and you can't use a 10'' device like a digital camera, it's ridicolous

Yeah it's a 2f, should have probably said
Thanks again

it's an android issue common to many devices, only cosmetic, just don't look at it
Should I have put the touch recovery image in with the common files? I was unclear on what to flash when (no fault on your instructions, just me being me).
I just tried to flash only the recovery image first, then i was going to flash the common -> ROM -> GApps -> 2f Compatability
Is that where i went wrong?
Ta
I guess you just bought it, don't you?

It might have come with the newer zt firmware, try to use this recovery.img and this boot.img (replace the one in the comp zip after having renamed it as boot.img instead of boot-new.img)
did you use the 2f files and instructions?

Alright, btw everything else is working exceptional great. Amazing ROM and amazing job.

Thankz

Hi, just to say that I am now running CM 10.1 on my c93. Big thanks for making the ROM. How much is a cup of coffee where you live?

I'd be happy to help out where I can with the ROM.

Edit: I am having an issue with the SD card. as the default /sdcard is no longer the path for the sdcard as it is now mnt/sdcard in CM 10.1
It's the same for the external sd card as well. I can navigate to the folders with Es file browser. But the default apps such as browser won't allow downloads as it says there is none. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This similar situation happened to me a week ago ... it seemed to not mount the internal scdard correctly if I understand you right? ... the only option I found was to flash a stock rom then come back to this rom and everything worked just fine ... hope it helps

android apps know where the sdcards are (all mounts are under /storage FYI), the problem is easy, doing all that stuff has screwed your partition layout and now the internal memory has to be reformatted again (and repartitioned), did ZT release the latest fw to the public? because I know FLSuperstore has it (that's where I got the new kernel to do the temporary comp zip) but I don't know if he's allowed to redistribute it.
Otherwise you should go ahead with recovery and adb shell partitioning /dev/block/avnftld with "fdisk" (experienced linux users might me able to do it in two seconds)

edit: got answer from Frank, this is the stock C93 firmware that comes with latest models, just flash it (using stock recovery) so it'll fix partitions and flash cm (with the modified twrp and boot.img that I supplied you) again
Thanks for the reply. Should I still flash the factory_reset.zip before cm?
