If you appreciate my work and would like to support me with a small donation you can click on button.
If every happy user of this rom would just donate a couple per month I could invest more time in all these Android projects, it'd cost you just like one coffee per month.

Instructions

* Unrar the "common" rar file and put "zt-update" folder to the root of a microsd.
* Put rom (cm-10.1-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-c97.zip) and gapps (gapps-jb-$DATE-signed-ubifs.zip) files inside internal or external sdcard.
* Turn on the tablet keeping pressed VOL+ and POWER. Press VOL+ to confirm and you'll boot to CWM recovery.
* If this is your first install flash this file that will format /system, /data and /cache partitions and from "Wipe" menu erase "Android secure".
* Flash rom (cm-10.1-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-c97.zip), gapps (gapps-jb-$DATE-signed-ubifs.zip) and, if you're using a different device, the required compatibility zip.
* Now select "Reboot system now".
* Enjoy CyanogenMod 10.1!

Changelog & download links

2013-05-18

* Updated upstream sources

Common 2013-03-03
ROM (md5sum)
Gapps 2013-03-01

Compatibility files for C93 H6 1F

Common 2013-03-03
Compatibility v1.1

Compatibility files for C93 H6 2F

TWRP recovery (create a folder named "zt-update" in your MicroSD and unzip there the recovery.img file; the bootloader will do the rest when you use the buttons trigger combination)
Compatibility v1.1

Note that if you're running the latest C93 stock firmware "ZT283_H6_2f_1GB_Android4.1_0202_V1.6" you will have to use this TWRP and this comp zip.
If you accidentaly used the previous files you'll see that partition's got fucked up and you'll have to flash the stock firmware to fix them

Issues

* Use another launcher (I suggest you "Nova" or "Apex") because Trebuchet screws the layout.
* Bluetooth stack has changed: USB bluetooth is not working right now; only devices with UART (internal) bluetooth works.
* If your device has only a front camera you won't have a camera launcher icon, but you can install this app

FAQs

* If you don't like Nexus 7 fingerprint and wanna use SGS-II instead flash this zip. Remember that changing fingerprint may screw Play Store, if it happens you'll have to perform a "wipe data / factory reset".
* WiFi now can stay enabled with display turned off. Note that if WiFi is enabled the tablet won't enter deep sleep so if you're more interestead in battery life instead of an always on WiFi change policy (on "Advanced" WiFi settings) from "Always" to "Never".
* Internal memory is mounted at /storage/sdcard0, external sdcard is mounted at /storage/sdcard1. If you wanna swap them (and make primary your real microsd) just flash this file after flashing rom's zip (you have to do it everytime you flash a new version of the rom)
* If you wanna format your internal memory (it's corrupted, filled of crap, etc.) just flash this file from recovery. If it fails try to unmount internal storage from "Mount" section.
* It's better if you don't change governor because the included "ondemand" has been customized to support "boostpulse" feature of jelly bean power hal. You can control min/max cpu frequency with display on/off editing these entries in /system/build.prop file (they're listed with their default value): "ro.sys.min_cpu_on=408000", "ro.sys.max_cpu_on=1200000", "ro.sys.min_cpu_off=96000", "ro.sys.max_cpu_off=1008000".

Ah, I was (I've switched back to my ICS ROM now) using the line persist.sys.vold.switchexternal=1 in my build.prop, is yours set to 0?
I'm not really familiar with all the data in there, but I can answer you that internal memory is located at sdcard0 (or however it's called, I know there is 0...)
And in recovery mode, I can find external located as sdcard1 (or however it's called...).

Ah, ok, so it is the opposite of mine, so yours must be set as 0... If you change it to 1, your gallery and music apps should find things on the real sdcard.... Or you could just copy the picture and music files you want to your internal storage....

I've reinstalled this mod now, gallery still doesn't work, however I can access external memory from Android itself. And yes, it was set to 0. do I have to reinstall whole android system, or can I somehow change it with file manager (rooted ofcourse...)

Greetings again. I (embarrassingly) just discovered that there was a CyanogenMod 10.1. What's the biggest/most important difference between 10 and 10.1. Which one is more stable also and has less bugs? I know of course this might be subject to opinion but i would like to know what people think.

Hopefully other people will give their input....

CM10 is Jellybean 4.1.2 and CM10.1 is JellyBean 4.2.2... Christian Troy hasn't updated CM10 for a while, but the latest CM10.1 has the most fixes/updates to it, and pretty much everything works well and is stable once you change to a different Launcher, and you should use/flash the reverted media libraries so things like NetFlix works...

While you are waiting for other responses, you should probably read through all of Christian Troys custom ROM threads and see which one is best for your needs...
thanks again Omarahum. I'm gonna test out CM10 since i already downloaded that and when i get the chance CM10.1 too. I was really impressed by CM the first time i saw it though i haven't gotten the chance to dabble in it myself. sooooooooooooooon >
. I have questions about the launcher but i won't ask till i reach that point/do more research so that i don't ask anything unnecessary.

I'm guessing you have a C97. You might have to use the stock kernel.

C93 video/pics work fine.

yes I have the C97. How can I change the kernel ?

I'm using the CM 10.1 ROM and I would like to keep it, is it possible just change the kernel ?

the problem it's the gallery app (I think).. is it possible fix this ?

one more thing: when I use the HDR option on camera menu it takes several pics (freeze)...
Still loving the rom but for some reason my micro card won't mount i had this problem before and fixed it but I've searched the forum and for the life of me can't find the file does anyone know how to fix this problem please.

Do you mean the internal drive? Or the actual Micro SD? Because you might have to start from scratch if this is happening. Something in the bootloader gets corrupt I think when this happens. On some machines I have to fight with it a few times before it will flash back to stock. Then everything seems OK again.

If it's the internal drive you just need to flash the format internal zip in the OP. And if it is the internal, make sure that you switch the memories too when you flash back to CM10.1 to avoid this stuff in the future.

If Zenithink would make their internal drive ext4 and go to MTP storage like the rest of the world is doing they wouldn't have these problems. I think I'll have to recommend to them to try and do that.

C97 ONLY!!!!!!!! You have been warned. Replace your kernel and recovery files in your common (zt-update) folder with these two:

What ROM is that from? Do you have a download link for the whole stock ROM?
2013-03-30

* Updated memsicd to support Z axis
