it should link to google now only if long pressed, anyway have a look at button configuration on romcontrol, try to reassign the buttons

Hi Christian - I am having the same problem with the back button only bringing up Google Search (trying to change the assignment for that button does not change the erroneus behavior). I think I am going to go back to 10.1 for now. It is too bad, because AOKP was compatible with the Play Store versions Iheartradio and Tunein, while 10.1 is not.

Its definitely an aokp problem. It is not as stable as cm as of today.
