Today I continue testing my Flame-QM with AML ROM 0131 (JB 4.2.1):
- Internal Storage become 12GB
- I can not flash to other ROMs... Vol - and Power doesn't work

- Audio and visual works great with HDMI

I plug in to my LED TV LC32LE240

- Skype 3.0.0.6181 works without "green screen"

and quality of voice call depend on volume (mic) setting and network mostly
- Rear Camera is flip (left to be right) but not mirror.
- Front Camera only have 2 option for Picture size, VGA and QVGA

- Battery level reached 3% but I didn't wait until shutdown... at 4% and 14% notification appeared (maybe vary) ...
- I still can not send-receive data via BT with my notebook (I have tried official or unofficial rom), but I can live with that

- Now I can Unmount USB storage (via OTG)

- Now testing sleep mode with wifi on...

Does that mean you can't flash with the SD or with the USB too? I mean can you flash the official 4.2.1 again with the USB?

My Pc fails to detect Ainol fire Tm when I turn off and turn on holding -key and power key, it detect it if powerup normally using android as mass storage or mtp
Is it possible to install from sdcard like other rom updates?
or how to get burning tool drivers installed?

if you comming from stock rom you can try to holding +key and power key,is it different is feiyu rom and ct rom

after deleteing some other usb android / qualcom drivers it showed unknown device in device manager, I updated / installed burning tool drivers to it and it worked

using stock 20121216 rom, pwr & -key takes me to android recovery menu.
pwr & +key is normal android boot.

I do get the windows usb ding when turning on in any mode , just no prompt to install drivers or new hardware detected.

I comming from stock rom 1211qm,I push Vol+ and Power key to USB-Burning mode.

PS, you must push Vol+ key frist and holding,and then push power key

Anyway according to amlogic it shouldn't work in this ainol release.

You can't, they moved to the /data/media layout (like 'high streets' brand and nexus devices) so there's no more a partition to be exported via ums.
They did this for the multi user, that's why i was saying that without the datamedia thing mu is only a giant workaround and should be avoided.

After several failures with USB connection, I finally managed to flash this firmware.
This is my sort review for TM screen with MMA gsensor.
- Very low screen brighness at boot.
- Auto brighness can't be activated
- I can't use MTP mode(need driver)
- Camera option only VGA and QVGA, other than that everything fine including photospare
- Popping and mosquito sound completely gone
- There's no more fake/ghost charging (battery bug)
- Louder speaker sound
- Pairing bluetooth to my phone very fast
- Bluetooth reverse tethering fine (bluetooth tethering not tested yet)
- It seems Internal storage/sdcard0 sharing space with Data partition (13gb)
- I managed to get into TWRP (for 2 GB data partition) in sdcard1

Someone have go back to other FW after instal this one ?
Tried to go back to "Happy Spring Festival" 0130 without succes.

Skype works, Youtube works , startup much faster , but it is not compatibile with a lot of apps , have preinstaled chineese apps, CIFS Manager not working.... that is the main issues why i want to go back to oldest soft.

Can anyone with a better English explain how exactly this Contacts.apk thing has to be done because I didn't get it from this post. Do I have to tap on the contacts.apk from the app folder after changing permissions to install it or just exit the file explorer and restart.

Otherwise thanks for posting the instructions, it worked flawlessly (with the exception of the above pop-up error).
My experiences so far:
- UI is more or less the same as CT's CM10.1 UI, Phablet, but with a lower DPI so everything is smaller like on Feiyu's roms
- Very bad Google Play compatibility, a lot of games eg. all Angry Birds and many apps displayed as incompatible
- Power menu options missing, only shut down
- No battery percentage indication
- Very smooth operation, I would say even smoother than Feiyu's 0130 rom
- CRT TV switch off effect on screen when going to stand-by with the power button (aka the good old stock Gingerbread rom)
- Screen wake up is still not instantaneous, very much like other roms
- Tablet starts-up a lot faster than with any other roms I tried before
- Tablet shut down is instantaneous.

Has anyone found a workaround for the Google Play incompatibility?

Is there any custom power menu available like CT's or Feiyu's solutions?

Can anyone with a better English explain how exactly this Contacts.apk thing has to be done because I didn't get it from this post. Do I have to tap on the contacts.apk from the app folder after changing permissions to install it or just exit the file explorer and restart.

Just copy Contacts.apk in /system/app using ES File Manager, change the file permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.
