Do the video lags on your version? The original 1.8.2 does not lag. But your version does improve a lot on the interface.

You may need to download&install Wondermedia Youtube Support Package from AppMarket provided @ ApppackWill do some tests on it...

do you think it would be possible to change the volume up and down controlls on the side to scroll up and scroll down that would be great because scrolling on this piece of shit is driving me nuts every time i try to drag and scroll it clicks on things so it takes forever to scroll anything

also I am using this program free video converter and I am testing different options to see which works best but I see the preloaded options for android and these tablets arent listen just phones, which one of the phones is best do you think to use?also I installed the pack you put a link to and the youtube crashes I will test the others in a min.Also d oyou have issues with the camera being upside down I get that on any firmware

Update: Think there's nothing to do with the firmware. It's my video format which has the problem. My Bad!Also 1337 not sure whether u can do the next update based on the 1.8.2 firmware as it has an option to let the device to go the standby mode to save battery. The settings is found on the settings-> sound&display->below screen timeout. I think it is a good feature.1.8.2 can get from script1.8.rar - 115网络U盘-我的网盘|免费网络硬盘

it is running pretty fast for me and video is running great but that all depends on the way you encode the video and the actual specs of your tablet I have the VIA MW8505 600MHz/500 MHz DSP7" screen800x480 with the dongle on the bottom that give syou 2 usb and 1 ethernet.So far this is the best working firmware for me.A pack with all of the confirmed working apk files on our epads would be great also

if anyone has them and could throw them up

I don't really care about the market working because most of the apps their wont work on our tablets I would rather have a pack of apps that should work and I can test them and see which ones do on mine.I would love for youtube to work when I put the Gome latest firmware on it the chinese youtube works great but that does me no good lolLike I said before though changing the side volume buttons to scroll up and down buttoms would be AMAZING and i would love you forever or tell me how I could change that if its not that hard, I have been playing around with adding/moving files but I don't really want to get into the sdk or anything that deep

the standby works fine for me btw you have to set the settings to whatever you want for the screen to go off and whatnot mine goes off after like a min or so hit the back button or menu or power and it turns back on then you hit back to unlock it

yes standby works - maybe you've activated the "stay awake while charging" @ settings / applications / developmentoriginal youtube works 100% when using "watch in normal quality" setting at videoplaybackoptionszSHARE - YouTube.apk

I'm having two major issues with this firmware. Whenever I hold the home icon to do a app switch, as soon as the recent apps windows pops up, it disappears before I get time to select my next app. I'm forced to use the desktop for app switching. Also, I have an issue where the screen registers a double tap when I'm doing a single tap. It gets worse during typing. One last thing. I was wondering if there was a way to speed up the lag during typing. Sometimes, typing on this thing gets really slow. Either way, I'm thankful for your work, im just giving some input.

oh yah after more use today and testing I am really having issues with it typing double letters when you hit one letter or having hard time at typing it takes forever. I have calibrated the screen 2 times. I dont know if its an issues with this firmware or just an issue all together because I just started testing hard on this thing today.

Its totally the FW. I'm comming from 1.7.2 and while that one lagged in typing, it never had double tapping and home icon issues.

so which firmware is better? Slatedroid1.3-flytouch-edition V2 or this stripped down 1.8.2? I have no chance of getting Slatedroid1.3-flytouch-edition V2 to work as it always stuck at the mounting SD card error.
