Does any know how to reset the unit, mine has died and i was wondering if reset would resolve the issue?

I think that the little on/off button on the end of the unit between the two usb ports will pretty much do the same thing as it removes power from the unit. Slide off then slide on to reset? That'd be my best guess. I don't see a reset button or hole anywhere else.
I also need to know how to reset it. Mine goes through the startup procedure then goes blank. the off on button just puts it back to the startup procedure.Any help would be appreciated.
Does any know how to reset the unit, mine has died and i was wondering if reset would resolve the issue?
You can do a full system reset by flashing a new update.img using the "restore" option.

Reflashing only works if you 1. Switch the aPad off2. Switch the aPad on (Do NOT press the center button to start the OS! Just put the switch into the "on" position)3. hold the menu key4. plug in the usb cable5. wait till the device is recognized6. release the menu key. This should always work. If it does not, your device is probably defective. Also remember that the battery may not be empty while flashing, so plug it in while flashing.
Thanks for the info, i have tried your instructions but the device is not recognised by my PC, it must be defectice
