8" aPad? Sounds like a M003 form factor w/ Rockchip inside.Heard such beast exists. 8" tablet with Rockchip CPU. Assuming all else are the same (256mb, 4gb, Android 1.5) what do you think?

Closes I've seen is the 800x600, Android 2.1 OS, 720mhz cpu, 256MB DDR ram, 4700mAh battery. SmartQ T7 should be out very soon. I originally wanted to get my hand on the well priced triple boot SmartQ 7, then the V7 came out with better numbers, but the R7 with 800x600 screen but no triple boot just Ubuntu, now beefed up Android T7 is making me itch. I must agree with tron33. You should wait some month, because the prizes for tablets will fall dramaticly. I am working for a Telecommunication Company and there are lots of new tablets in the pipeline for 2011 for low prices, good hardware and in combination with a fitting 3G Data Plan.
