Can't see anything on eBay UK yet but it's only a matter of time.
and this?http://www.hyperbattery.com/indexmain.htmanyone knows the size of the actual battery?Regards
by the way, how do you replace the battery? I can't see any screws.
Of course you will have to force the aPad open to change the battery. How that works is discussed multiple times. On the plastic back pad it is quite destructive for the touchscreen, you have to peel the glued border of the screen back to reach the screwsthe metallic one can be 'pulled out' with a suction cup.The second problem will be that there are at least two versions battery wise. The 3.7v (batch 1 and 2) and the variant with the 9v charger (batch 3, i dont know the voltage of the actual battery). Also if i recall right there is a subversion that has two seperated batterypacks....Battery type should be LiPo but it has only two contacts, so if there is a charging electronic it is eighter integrated on the batterypack or non existant. You might want to contact Carnivore for more info, he moded his aPad to an insane amount of mAh ^^(he modded te case and used batterys i think he had gotten from DealExtreme... sadly the Thread was lost when the forum moved and i think he removed the YouTube videos...)
