Can't you just install another such as Apex and set it to default. That is why I have done as I don't like Go Launcher either.
Removing Go Launcher HD
Hey guys,
I recently received my N101 and the first thing I want to do is get rid of Go Launcher HD. Unfortunately uninstalling it bricks the tablet (it hangs during boot logo).
Does anyone have an idea how I can get rid of it? I've googled but there's not much to find on the HD one, and the trick for the normal or EX version don't seem to work.

It seems so. I asumed the AOSP launcher would always be there, but that's not the case. You need to install any other launcher before you can successfully remove the other.Can't you just install another such as Apex and set it to default. That is why I have done as I don't like Go Launcher either.
