All credit goes there =)
I just made a script and reworded the info to make things as easy as possible for us

How to install ClockworkMod Recovery 5

  1. Download recovery_ClockworkMod_v5.0.2.7.zip and unzip it.
  2. Run the batch file named "CWM_Recovery_install_reboot.bat"
  3. Enjoy having ClockworkMod Recovery on your NOVO7 Advanced
*** Manually access CWM recovery when the tablet is powered off
Push & hold VOL+ then also hold the power button for about 15 seconds

Here are the commands used to install the CWM recovery manually
Code:
<br />
<br />
adb push install-recovery.sh /data/<br />
adb shell chmod 755 /data/install-recovery.sh<br />
adb push recovery.cpio /data/<br />
adb shell /data/install-recovery.sh<br />
<br />
Here is the command to reboot to CWM recovery while booted into Android:
Code:
<br />
<br />
adb shell "echo -n boot-recovery | busybox dd of=/dev/block/nande count=1 conv=sync; sync; reboot"<br />
<br />

******************************************************************************
Navigating the ClockworkMod menu
VOL-: next(down)
VOL+: prev(up)
MENU: select
HOME/BACK arrow: back
******************************************************************************

TIPS:
Make backups to INTERNAL SDCARD (then move it later if desired)
Install zips from INTERNAL SDCARD

NOTES:
  • script output "[: not found" and "mke2fs: not found" are not errors and do not inhibit the installation of CWM recovery.
  • LiveSuit will overwrite the CWM recovery when changing roms. All you have to do is repeat this procedure (run the *.BAT file) to re-install CWM.
  • BATCH file inside ZIP to automate install and reboot
  • some options still do not work correctly, but backup/restore works perfectly
  • Rom Manager from the market currently doesn't work with this version of CWM recovery (and probably never will)
  • efforts are being made (by myself) to create a quick app to reboot into the recovery partition on the Novo7 while in Android
  • This works with Gingerbread currently. This does NOT work for Android 4.0 (ICS) yet...

You are the man synaptyc! One extra detail, you might want to include adb in this zip so people aren't confused why it isn't working by just running the .bat

Thanks for this, but I am having trouble installing clockworkmod,
it runs install script but I get at the end it says (/data/install-recovery.sh[14]: mke2fs: not found 12522 blocks)
so option 2 recovery will not work, what am I doing wrong?

If you wre to use CWM Recovery 4.0.0.4 instead of 5.0.2.7 do you think that ROM Manager would work?

I have no idea where to get the 4.0.0.4 file that you would need to substitute to try this.

I have tried flashing multiple versions via Rom Manager without success.I am sure this incredible community will figure it out in no time.

after install Recovery COnsole you guys can using it by 2 way:
1. Using the number 2 option using Synaptyc above.
2. Power off N7A, press and keep Volume + button and then press power button at the same time, keep those button until you can boot to recovery console.

Hey ..

I gave up. I flashed Feiyu. Did away with ICS. Everything worked like a charm.
Feiyu version indeed seems better. snappier, no sudden shut down. no force closes. no hang.

Try it.

**Warning, first attempt at an Android app**

Ok I'm sure someone else has already done a much better one than I, but here is a quick app that will reboot the Novo into Recovery. You no longer need to be connected to a PC with adb installed.

This is super quick and dirty, and it's my first attempt so you developers keep the laugher to a dull roar

There is no UI, so once you run it, it will initiate the reboot.

Obviously you must have CWM installed and working per Synaptic's original post.

I've attached a zip file with the java source code and the compiled APK.

Any brave soul willing to test?

your apk work great... just wanna know that the command needed to reboot recovery using gscript? can we?

BR

P/S: anypne can backup to external micro SD? BK to internal and the copy to PC (livesuite.exe will delete our internal storage after flash to ICS .img) after that copy back to internal before restore kind of messy.
