Might be bad device.a. Try reset button inside hole between earphone jack and volume switch. (other hole is mic do not poke!)b. Send it backc. update firmware. 1. Download the Slatedroid file available here:http://www.slatedroid.com/vbulletin/downloads.php?do=cat&id=152. extract using 7zip , if you dont have them they are available herehttp://slatedroid.com/index.php?acti...a=view;down=273. once extracted open up the folder inside there should be a "script folder" aswell as a few other files. leave these for now.4. Plug in your SD card too the computer, this can be done either using an SD card reader, or by connecting your EKEN using the provided usb cable.5. drag and drop the contents of the earlier extracted ; (script) to the root of the SD card.6. safely unplug SD card/device from computer (insert SD card into device if using reader)7. power EKEN completely off, do this by holding the power button untill the lights go off.8. plug EKEN into power (not necessary but recommended)9.power on EKEN but pressing the power button once, the update should start and run automatically.
