You can attempt to upgrade whichever drivers you want, but there are no 100% guarantees. Before they released 1.9.1 with the camera working for m002 I was running 1.7.4 with some updated 1.9.0 drivers. The mma driver caused my touchscreen not to respond, so I stuck with the 1.7.4 version. This seemed to be due to a difference between either the kernel and driver or the userspace and driver of the versions. There really isn't a risk of bricking based on the drivers because you can just reflash with the working drivers, but understand that anytime you flash your device something could go wrong during the uboot and wload portion which would brick the device (this is a risk with any stock firmware too and not just cutsom ones). I'm sure if you wait for Roger to get better he'll put out a new Vestinious build based on 1.9.1
Possible to incorporate drivers from official 1.9.1 into Vestinious 1.2.2 ?
Hi there,I have read from a number of different users that they were copying the new drivers from official FW 1.9.1 into their /driver folder before flashing, in order to update the drivers.I dont want to brick my unit, hence the question: Is this generally possible, or is it FW-dependant ? if possible, do I have to copy ALL the drivers from the official FW, or just the drivers which are in the /driver section of my actual FW ? (the official FW contains some drivers not present in Vestinious 1.2.2)I compared the drivers included in Vestinious with thos in the official, some differ in size (at least), it might be worth a try.thanks in advance for the info,greetz, PADMAN

Is there any way of telling which driver does what other than just deriving it from its name, please?
I will be making an update to vestinious based on SDK 1.9.1 shortly, I would hope by the end of this week (cross your fingers here).Also its possible to identify what the drivers are for if your used to them and there naming.
I have already made a vestinious version using the 1.9.1 SDK but so far Market doesnt work, it also has been found this is a problem with all custom versions based on 1.9.1
