portrait mode home screen?

Anyway to make the home screen go portrait mode?would love it if I didn't have to rotate my moonse everytime I have to switch between programs (aldiko, docs 2 go, opera mini, etc) as I'm reading them ebook style.(i think I read someone asking hellomerong to change the rom so that home screen can have this option, but I can't remember)thanks!
